I had a slow month at Brighthub. My Residuals are basically in the same place as last month, but I didn't do any new work for them, so I was under the normal $10.00 payout. Surprisingly, though, even though I was under, I did meet a request to change an article within a time frame that made me eligible for a $1.00 bonus. It was a special promotion to encourage writers to finish rewrites on the stuff that was hit in Panda. I think it was that $1.00 that made me make pay out, even though I was under the threshold.
My total Rev. Share for BH in May was $3.67. With the $1.00 bonus, my monthly total was $4.67, which is about the cost of a good hamburger. The good thing is, I like burgers.

Demand Studios Revenue Share Earnings May 2011
I had another consistent month over at Demand Media for my revenue share. A few of the titles that I created right before the writer created assignments (WCA program) ended are doing well. It's sort of a bitter sweet feeling. I am glad the the titles I made were "Winners" but its unfortunate that I cannot do more like them.
I broke the monthly $10.00 payout every month this year except January, and May was no exception.
My earnings for May on my revenue share were $13.34 on about 30 articles. I'm happy with it, but it sure isn't paying my rent.
