July was the first month where Brighthub issued two payments instead of one monthly payment. Of course, what I mean by that is that they would have issued two payments if I had made the pay out. My total monthly earnings in July on page views was $4.61.
I don't mind the $4 bucks, its the thought of having to update these articles in a few months that bothers me a bit. I'm glad that I don't have a ton of work at BH, because the thought of having to keep content fresh for something like .10 a month is not appealing at all. I can understand why people would let their under-performing articles go stale.
Well, I guess I will cross (or burn) that bridge when I get to it.

Demand Studios Revenue Share Earnings July 2011
My earnings in July were down. I only earned $9.24 on my 33 articles, which means that I didn't even hit the $10.00 pay out. One of my steady earners didn't earn anything in July, which accounts for some of the decrease. The article in question already has earned about $2.50 this month, so I should have a more regular month in August.
$9.24 for old work. It makes me wish that I would have written hundreds of those articles, since the money from the hundreds I wrote for Demand upfront is already long gone. Ah, well.
